Richard Allen Larson, 72, of Ephraim, passed away on March 10, 2012 in Ephraim.  He was born September 14, 1939 in Ephraim.  He was one of seven children born to Sheldon R and Gladys Peterson Larson.  He is survived by his sister Linda Larson Helstern and brother Glen Sheldon Larson.
He married Janis Braithwaite. They had three sons: Allen, Wayne and Dale.  He later divorced and married Nancy Nause. They had three sons: Christopher, Blaine and Randy.  He later divorced and married Helen Rosquist Larson.  She had three daughters, Pat, Terry and Linda.  Helen preceded him in death.
Dick served in the Army and worked hard throughout his life.  He worked with his brothers on the farm, raising livestock and herding sheep.  He was a skilled mechanic, meat cutter and knife sharpener.
Richard will be missed by family and those who knew him.  His heritage lives on in his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ephraim 4th & 5th Ward Chapel, 751 South 100 East. Friends may call on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Magleby Mortuary - Manti, 195 West 100 North and prior to services at the church from 11:30-12:30.  Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery with military rites by the Manti American Legion Post #31 and Utah Honor Guard.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
