    Beloved and cherished mother, sister, aunt and friend, Reneé Jackson Adams, 72, passed away December 12, 2022, in Monroe. She was born February 3, 1950 in Salt Lake City, to Jay Gubler and Thelma June Frost Jackson. She was the third of four children including, Gayle, Judy and JayLynn. She married Ronald D. Madsen in Salt Lake City, October 13, 1972; they later divorced, but had four boys together. She moved to Monroe in 1988 and loved living here so much. 
    Reneé was an awesome mom and loved to spend time with her family. She was avid about taking pictures of her family and trips she went on but was always behind the camera, so finding a picture of her was a definite treasure. She made wonderful memory scrapbooks for her boys.  
    She loved to travel and went on the Church History Tour multiple times. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hiking and doing yard work. Renee was also passionate about the Harry Potter books and movies and she was always listening to the books on her iPod or watching the movies every time they were on the television. Visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios was a highlight of her most recent travels. Reneé also loved her canine companion of the last three years, Shilo. 
    Reneé was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She spent much time devoted to her many callings and serving others. She worked at LDS Family Services and loved those whom she worked closely with. She retired in February of 2019. 
    Reneé is survived by her boys: Travis (LaDonna), Troy (Kami), Todd, and Tony (Jennifer); her sisters, Gayle and Judy (Scott); 10 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Thelma; and brother, JayLynn.
    Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Monroe 2nd Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 10:00  to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
