Michele Rene Fenn Rapier, age 62, of Manti, passed peacefully in her sleep on May 30, 2024. She was born in Tucson, AZ in 1961. Rene was welcomed into the large and loving family of Golden Leroy Fenn and Annie Lavine Thompson, joining 11 siblings in Saint David, Arizona.
Rene married the love of her life, Jack Wesley Rapier, Jr. December 21, 2001. Together they built a beautiful life, sharing the highs and lows. Rene had a great love for her family, friends, and pets. She especially loved celebrating and decorating for holidays and spoiling her grandchildren.
Rene leaves behind her dear husband, Jack “Link” Rapier; daughters, Heather (Phillip) Gunnell and Vanessa (Chase) Hackford. She and Jack were the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren. She loves shopping for family, always thinking of them, and if there was a good deal, she was on top of it!
Although a tragic loss for those of us left behind, we find great comfort and peace that she is reunited with her parents, family, dear friends, and a plethora of beloved pets.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Manti 9th Ward Chapel, 295 South Main. Viewings will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and also prior to services on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
