Raymond Lee Johnson, 61 of Elsinore, passed away December 3, 2017 at his home in Elsinore after a valiant battle with stage 4 brain cancer. He was a fighter and lasted longer than expected, giving his family more precious days with him. He was born January 17, 1956 in Richfield to Ronald James and Myrna V. Yergensen Johnson. He married Toni Marie Sorensen October 16, 1980 in the Manti Temple.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ray held many callings, including stake mission with his wife, and in charge of technology equipment for 15 years. He loved serving the widows in town. In a time of need, he was always the first one there and the last to leave. His hobbies include making LED lights out of wood and glass.

Ray will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Toni; children: Brian Johnson and Alex Johnson; siblings: Phillip (Stephanie) Johnson, Craig (Tera) Johnson, Steven (Shiree) Johnson and Ronnie Johnson all of Elsinore.

The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to everyone who participated in the fund raisers which enabled his family to enjoy his last months.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 or at the ward chapel in Elsinore on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery.
