Ray "Eddie" Holman, 61, of Richfield, Utah, passed away May 2, 2012, in Richfield. He was born January 31, 1951, in San Francisco, CA, to Leonard and Deloris Holman.
Ray spent his childhood in San Francisco. He moved to Utah to work and fell in love with the area. He met and married Susan Johnson and they had two daughters, Shalee and Heidi. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and snowmobiling. He worked at SUFCO where he met many friends and still maintained those friendships after his retirement. Ray took great pride in everything he did; from his home, yard, trucks and his work. His closest friends and family will always miss the kind, generous, dependable friend they had in Ray.
He is survived by his daughters, Shalee (Troy) Lobato, West Jordan; Heidi Miller, South Jordan; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charlie Holman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 S. 100 W., Richfield. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Sunday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. and again at the mortuary on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account, in Ray’s name, at Zions Bank where donations can be made.
