Ralph France, 70, passed away June 22, 2019 on the Boulder Mountain. Ralph was born November 15, 1948 in Richfield to Kent Lee and Helen Christensen France.

Ralph lived most of his childhood in Hyrum UT, and spent much of his time in his families bottling business. He proudly served in the Vietnam war and was eventually discharged with honors, after receiving a purple heart. He went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad, and then met and married Aline Boggess. They moved to Elsinore to begin their family where he was a mechanic for Hales Sand and Gravel. They had two children, then later divorced but always maintained a close personal friendship.

Ralph enjoyed working on anything and everything, and had passion for horses, trap shooting, hunting, and anything outdoors, and was a member of the Sevier County Search and Rescue. He loved being outdoors and spending his spare time restoring guns, training horses, leatherworking, and horn hunting. But his truest passion was in spending time outdoors with his sons and grandchildren. He was doing what he loved right up to the end.

Ralph is survived by his two sons: Justin (Holly), Dusty (Sandra); grandchildren: Kailee, Kyler, and Keston; siblings: Gwen (Frank) Christiansen, Danny France, Duane (Holly) France, Dolores Therman. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert France; brother-in-law, Ivan Therman; nephew, KC France.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield, where friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday after 10:00 a.m. Motorcycle procession to the Richfield airport and celebration to follow services.
