Rachel Dawn Shire, 41, passed away November 14, 2017 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo from complications of a short illness. She was born October 25, 1976 in Richfield to Cindy Kay Ward and Harvey Evan Wilcock. She was engaged to Allen Overall.
Rachel was a "social butterfly" making friends where ever she went. She enjoyed being a school crossing guard and loved the children she helped cross to and from school. She was always helping someone, whether is was family or friends, she lived a life of service.
She is survived by her mother, Cindy of Richfield; father Evan and step-mother, Sarah, Richfield; children: Kristian Turner, Midvale; Gabriel Wilcock, Monroe; adopted kids: Bryan Coleman, Shephard AFB, TX; Brandon Apodaca and Blake Piper, both of Orlando, FL; siblings: Michael (Amanda) Wilcock, Richfield; Lex (Amy) Wilcock, Logan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. or on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Online guestbook www.maglebymortuary.com
