Richfield, Utah
On Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 81, our loving mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend, Peggy Louise Case White, passed away at her home in Richfield surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and charity that will live on through her family for generations to come. Grandma was born Jan. 5, 1943 and raised in Annabella to Marion Arnold and Louisa Case. She graduated from South Sevier High School. She was the baby of 2 brothers and 7 sisters. She met and married the love of her life in 1961, Doug White. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti temple March 24, 1966. They had 4 children, Kathy, Wayne, Bill and Shaunaree. As the heart of her home, Peggy poured her love and devotion into her role as a mother and grandmother. Her kitchen was always filled with the aromas of homemade cooking, divinity, and filled cupcakes. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she spent many years in primary and loved every minute of it. She was often called the church grandma by everyone. Grandma was an avid business owner. She bowled on many local bowling leagues. Peggy was a member of the Elks Lodge and she donated a lot of money and time towards helping the community wherever it was needed. She was everyone’s second mom. She was a major supporter of high school sports and has been her grandkids and great-grandkids’ biggest fan. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Jackie), Bill (Jody) and Shaunaree White; son-in-law, Keven Betts; 11 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren; and brother, Allen Case. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doug; daughter, Kathy Betts; daughter-in-law, Cheryl White; 2 grandsons, Brad and Brock Betts; 1 brother and 7 sisters; and her parents.
