Paul Andersen

Paul W Andersen, 77, passed away in Richfield, Utah on November 14, 2015 due to complications of diabetes. He was born in Central Valley, Utah on June 11, 1938 to Ernest Paul "E. P." and Bernice Christensen Andersen. He grew up in Central and graduated from South Sevier High School.
Paul married his first wife, Myrna Kennedy, moved to Salt Lake City, and together had six children. Later divorced. With his family he enjoyed family ski days, trips to San Diego, and simple family fun.
He was a self-employed paint contractor and then a painter at Little America Hotel. It was there Paul met Janene Allred and they were married on July 30, 1991. Retired from Little America Hotel they moved to Elsinore, Utah. They spent many summers in their trailer at Fish Lake where they fished and enjoyed the outdoors. While living in Elsinore he worked on a traveling crew of painters at Little America properties all over the western United States.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Paul is survived by his wife, Janene; children: Shellie Drage, Tami (Steve) Morrison, Jeff (Laurie) Andersen, Eric (Patti) Andersen, Amy (John) Borland, and Leisha (Mike) Arveseth; step-children: Annette Rowsell, Cindy Rowsell, John Rowsell, Sandra (Abel) Bravo; 34 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Soren (Nina) Andersen and Steve (Emmi) Andersen.
Preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Gaylene Adler, Jane Bullard, and Dick Roy Andersen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Valley Ward Chapel, 65 North Main, where friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
