Trish Meacham
Glenwood/Spanish Fork
Our sweet mom, Patricia Lyn Ogden Meacham “Trish” returned to her sweetheart on August 26, 2024 at her home in Spanish Fork. Trish was born on June 21, 1944 in Richfield, Utah to Ted Ross and Lois Fae Sorensen Ogden. Her dad was in military training at Camp Roberts, California. The nurse pinched her so she could cry into the phone for her dad. Six months later Ted was killed in action in France. Everett Anderson became her step-father and raised her as his own. She became a big sister to Terry and then Jolayne as they joined the family.
She graduated from Richfield High School in 1962. The next year, on August 9, 1963 she married her high school sweetheart, Dean N Meacham. They were sealed in the Manti Temple on June 12, 1964. Trish and Dean raised their family in Richfield just around the corner from her childhood home and loved every minute of it. They supported their kids in sports, work, church or whatever else they were involved in. She was the perfect mom who taught us how to work, love, and serve. Her house was a landing place for many friends and family. In 1989 the family moved to Glenwood where she lived until 2021 when she picked up and moved to her little home in Spanish Fork.
She was so very proud of her family. She and Dean followed the Richfield Wildcats and the Manti Templars around the state for nearly 40 years supporting them in their victories and losses. Our mom was not someone who liked the spotlight but she quietly served and cared for countless people throughout her life including her mother, both grandmothers, our dad and so many others.
Mom worked several jobs around town, but her favorite was being wife to Dean and a mom to Cole, Ted and Lana. We always knew Mom was there for us.
Trish is survived by her kids: Cole (Staci) Meacham, Manti; Ted (Jody) Meacham, Florence, MT; and Lana (Kevin) Bohnet, Spanish Fork; brother, Terry (Sharon) Anderson, West Valley City; 15 grandchildren and 7½ great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband Dean; two infant sons: Tod and Eric; sister, Jolayne (Don) Okerlund; and her parents.
