Patricia Ann Peterson, age 78 of Bowling Green, KY passed away July 2, 2016 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY. She was born on May 24, 1938 in Las Vegas, NV. to Johnson Everett White and Iris Waite. She married Darwin Wilson Peterson on February 13, 1959 in the St. George LDS Temple.

Patricia was a devoted wife and mother. She was a grand-mother who loved to play with and entertain her grandchildren. She was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a Temple worker at the Nashville Tennessee Temple. She achieved the title of Master Gardener. She had a beautiful flower garden and would often share her plants with her friends. She was active in her community giving much of her time and service to many organizations such as: Sumner County Archives, Meals on Wheels, Rock Castle, Home Safe, Hendersonville Senior Center, and Baptist Cancer Center.

She is survived by her two sons and three daughters. Wayne Peterson, Jamestown TN; Gary Peterson, Provo UT; Kathi Isenhour, Lewisville, NC; Gail Peterson, Williamsburg VA; Cheryl Vance, Bowling Green KY; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Darwin Wilson Peterson, parents Johnson Everett White and Iris White, brother Jack Everett White, and sister Dora Jean (Loveland) Owen.
Graveside services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Redmond Cemetery.
