Oscar "Dee" Peterson, 71, of Ephraim, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 in St. George. Dee was born on August 29, 1943 in Ephraim, to Webley Lewis and Marge Peterson Peterson.
Dee was a life long resident of Ephraim. He served an LDS mission to Australia and upon his return married his sweetheart, Lenore Watson in the Los Angeles Temple on July 24, 1965. Dee was a familiar face at local yard sales, he also loved hunting, fishing, farming, and building. The biggest joy of Dee’s life was his family.
Dee is survived by his wife, Lenore of Ephraim; children, Travis Peterson of St. George, Harley (Courtney) Peterson of Salt Lake City, Edee (Adam) Andreason of Dallas TX, Scott (Amie) Peterson of Ephraim and Shane Peterson of St. Geroge. He is also survived by his siblings, Gordon, Jack, Darlene and Gloria and also 11 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alvin.
Graveside services and Interment will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
