Oaklee Sidwell

Panguitch, Utah

Our sweet Oaklee Lynn Sidwell, 9, left us on August 14, 2013 in Salt Lake City, after a tragic accident. She was surrounded by all of her loving family as she went back into the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was born July 11, 2004 in Panguitch to Tracy and Desiree Griffin Sidwell, the sister of Tyler and Jordan Sidwell.

Oaklee was here with us for nine wonderful years and was so full of life. She lived it to the fullest and shared her happiness with everyone around her. She loved to do so many things: riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, hunting, frog hunting, shooting her BB gun, soccer, baseball, basketball, swimming, playing with all her cousins and friends, sheep riding, riding horses, farming, to shopping trips with her mom. Any time spent with her family and friends was important to her. She always wanted to help with everything. She was the mommy to all the little kids around her, and her daddy’s partner while she helped him work in the shop. The list could go on forever because she enjoyed life everyday and everyone around her was a part of that. She brought a special spirit with her wherever she went and impacted so many peoples lives in the short time she was with us.

Oaklee also had a great love for animals. She started out bottle feeding lambs and calves. From there her motherly instinct grew and she took in many more animals. When you came to her house you could see how much she loved animals with cats, dogs, rabbit, fish, guinea pig, parrot, horses, sheep, and cows. Her newest pet was her baby Jack rabbit she fed with a syringe that the dog brought to her. She would take any animal in and make sure it was taken care of. She pretty much had her own petting zoo.

Oaklee you will be missed, but we know you will always be watching over us and be our precious Angel.

She is survived by her parents; brothers; grandparents: Don Bridges, Russell and Annette Bridges, Mary Lynn Sidwell; great-grandparents: Yukon Norman, LaMar Jolley, Joyce Jolley, Darlene Reynolds; many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved very much.

She is proceeded in death by: grandfathers: Randy Griffin, Larry John Norman, and Richard Sidwell; and great-grandma, Lucille Bridges. She has many more loved ones surrounding her in heaven.
