Norma Jean King Maloney, 85, passed away December 31, 2018 in Richfield, Utah. She was born July 24, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas to Clyde Douglas and Faye Ethelyn Tomlinson King. She married Michael Arthur Maloney on February 10, 1951 in Chanute, Kansas. He preceded her in death January 22, 2011
Some friends called her Norma and some called her Jean, but her loving family called her mom and grandma. She had many interests that included candy making, quilting, porcelain dolls and craft painting. At one time, she owned a craft business selling items to the Disneyland souvenir shops. She also was well known for her "Rosy Apple Pie".
Her daughter, Kelly Faye Brindle preceded her in death. Surviving her are sons: Patrick (Rebecca) Maloney, Central Valley; and Michael (Victoria) Maloney, Forest Grove, OR; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
At her request, her body has been donated to the University of Utah School of Medicine to advance medical science. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Central Valley 2nd Ward Church.
