Nola Jean Nilsson Bradshaw, 81, daughter of Donald Lewis Nilsson and Alice Jane Bascom, died October 18, 2017 of causes incident to age. She was born June 11, 1936, the third of 9 children, raised on a farm in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. She met Wilfred Edwin Bradshaw, a construction worker from British Columbia, whom her father brought him home for dinner. They married on September 15, 1953, when she was just 17. They were sealed together in the Cardston, Alberta Temple, May 15,1956. He preceded her in death by almost exactly one year ago.

Nola had many talents and gifts. She loved singing, art, and the art of using words. Gifted at cooking, she made excellent pies, cakes and chocolates at Christmas. She was a creative seamstress, used her abilities to clothe her 7 children and make quilts. Gardening and the raising of flowers was an inherited trait, she and Wilf always had a lovely yard. If she envisioned what she wanted in a home, Wilf could build it, and did build or remodel over 40 homes for her in the course of their 63 year marriage. Growing up on a farm, she had learned the value of hard work, and was tough and strong, worked beside him all her life. She always had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in numerous callings over the course of her life, taught those principles to her children.

She is survived by 6 siblings; 7 children: Lynn and Richard Rawlinson, Susan and Micheal Fackrell, Neil and Karen Bradshaw, Lori and Kerry McGraw, Kevin and Leslie Bradshaw, Tracey and Floyd Jones and Marcy Griffeths. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti. Online guest book www.maglebymortuary.com
