Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, Misti Lynn Anderson Hansen, 39, passed away on April 9, 2018 in Moab. Misti was born on August 24, 1978 in Afton, WY to Michael and Linda Barrus Anderson. She grew up in Manti and then later moved to Richfield.

Misti’s greatest love in life were her children and her grandson, Maxx. She loved all of them with her whole heart. Misti had a love for music, nature, exploring and all animals especially cats. She loved to write poetry and sing. She enjoyed being in the mountains exploring and fishing with her children. Misti was a protector over all no matter who you were. She always fought for the underdog. We are going to miss you so much, but we know you will be watching over us always.

She is survived by her parents, Michael & Linda, Glenwood; children: Hope Jensen, Thayne, WY; Braquel Jensen, Glenwood; Daylyn Hansen and Corey "JD" Hansen, both of Richfield; grandson, Maxx; sisters: heather Jensen, St. George; Sara (Anthony) Phelps, Monroe; Stephanie (Lance) Irons, Moroni; grandparents: DuWayne & Merlene Anderson, Manti; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents: Boyd Barrus and Bardella Barrus
