Melba Ivie Memmott, 88, passed away peacefully November 17, 2017 in West Jordan. She was born September 27, 1928 in Fillmore to Parley and Viola Petersen Ivie. She married Jewell Kay Memmott in 1948 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized. They made their home in Kearns, Utah where they raised their 4 children. After retirement, Melba and Jewell enjoyed road trips with their favorites being Branson, the Redwoods and the Oregon Coast. In their later years they moved back to Scipio until 2015, then relocated to Salt Lake to be near her family.
She is survived by her children: Charlene (Bruce) Dugger, Michael Kay Memmott, Rodney Jay (Amy) Memmott; son-in-law, Phil Webb; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jewell; parents; twin brother, Melvin; daughter, Sharon Webb; and grandson, Zachary Memmott.
