Maurine Carlfine Anderson Christensen, 85, passed away May 26, 2013 in Centerfield, Utah with her loving family surrounding her. She was born November 11,1927 to Miles Nephi and Carla Kiersten Sophia Poulsen Anderson.  She married Jerome Brice  Christensen on July 30, 1946 in Centerfield.  He preceded her in death August 23, 2004. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Maurine was fortunate to live her entire life in Gunnison Valley.  She retired after many years as a floor supervisor with Pacific Trail in Manti.  She enjoyed traveling and was always up for a new adventure.  She loved spending time with her grandkids, and shopping (her watch and cook book collection was vast).

She was part of the quilting circle at the Gunnison Senior Center and made many quilts over the years as gifts. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Carla Anderson who will be 104 on June 25 ^th ; children, Chad (Janice) Christensen of Kirkland,WA, Arell  (Susan) Christensen of Fruit Heights, Ut, Karla Rae (Dan) Cashen of Puyallup,WA; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Gerda (Paul) Caldwell of Gunnison; brother, Hal Anderson of Salt Lake City.

She also was preceded in death by her father, Miles Anderson; son, Miles Craig Christensen; 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Clyde Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Mayfield LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 and on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30.  Burial will be in the Gunnison Cemetery.
