Matthew was born on February 24, 1981 in Provo, Utah. He was a happy, curious, and inventive child. He was a hard worker, his heart was large and accepting of all. His smile was genuine and he was often found helping others.
Matthew worked magic with wood and building materials. The homes of his family all benefitted from his unparalleled workmanship.
He loved being in the mountains and often took his beloved dog for runs and hikes in the hills surrounding his home. He found much joy in camping, fishing, and four-wheeling.
