Mason Bailey
Richfield, Utah
Elder Mason Lewis Bailey, 19, of Provo/Richfield, took the "Angel Flight," home to the arms of his loving Heavenly Father on March 2, 2014, while serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Stockholm Sweden Mission. Mason was born November 12, 1994 in Provo.
Mason grew up in Provo but, spent the last two years of his life with family in Richfield. Mason was a person who truly enjoyed life with a vigor for the outdoors and the beauties the Lord has provided. Mason loved everyone and displayed this by sharing his hugs with all those around him. He never missed a chance for a new experience: horses, hunting, fishing, skiing, canyoneering, caving, sky-diving and anything outdoors were his passions.
Mason emulated the Savior’s life by being kind to everyone; he loved his family dearly and adored little children. You could always find Mason taking care of others, and putting their needs first. After graduating high school he was anxious to serve a mission and was one of many who left at 18 years of age. Mason served diligently and with honor. We love and miss you Mason.
He is survived by his parents: Lewis (Marcy) Bailey, Ruidoso, New Mexico and Rachelle Dunn Bailey, Provo; brother and sister: Morgan Lewis Bailey, Mikayti Shell Bailey, of Provo; step-brothers and sisters; Wyatt, Kage, Stefan, Justine and Chelcy; grandparents: Noel and Tonya Bailey, Terral and Debbie Dunn, all of Richfield.
