Marylynn Joy Thelin Wilde, 80, passed away in the early morning of May 22, 2017 in Provo, the aftermath of an automobile accident. She was born on December 28, 1936 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Joseph and Sigrid Thelin.

Marlynn was a dedicated and kind servant to those around her, selflessly giving her time to help others. She spent many of her days volunteering for organizations such as the Manti Humanitarian Center, as well as simply being there for those that just needed a kind word or a friend to lean on. Ever the smiling face, Marylynn brightened all the space around her, and her deep love for the Lord and the Gospel shined in her all her life.

The community of Manti became a family to Marylynn that she cherished deeply, and she often spoke of the joy that her life in Manti brought her. Her days spent among her friends there were rich and meaningful, filled with happiness and content.

Mim is survived by her four daughters: Lynnette (Tom) Bingham, Vicki (Dale) Baker, Peggy (Mark) Watkins, and Laury (Jack) Roper; as well as her brother, Allen (Jeanne) Thelin. She had 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Mim was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rodney; grandson, Skyler; sisters: Josie and Annette; and brother, Heber.

The family of Marylynn offers their deep appreciation to the community of Manti for the love you showed her. Your kindness and affection meant the world to her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Manti Red Church, where friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Springfield Sterling Cemetery in Springfield, Idaho.
