Mary Jayne Street

Mary Jayne Seegmiller Street, 96, passed away July 17, 2013 in Richfield. She was born March 28, 1917 in Richfield to Chariton and Mary Jane Orrock Seegmiller. She married William F. "Bill" Street in Richfield, September 20, 1938. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He passed away May 22, 1984.

Mary Jayne loved her family, her flowers and was a notorious bridge player. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She loved to fish, go camping and hiking in the mountains. And was the best mom ever.

She graduated from Richfield High School as Valedictorian. She had an incredible memory her entire life. At one time, she took care of the books at a local car dealership, the family business and an accounting office, while raising a family.

Mary Jayne worked with her husband, Bill and son, Ed at Equipment Center for many years, finally retiring, at 70, after setting the company up with the latest computer programs. She had a keen knowledge of the parts department and a great relationship with all of the farmers they served.

She is survived by her children, Billie (Craig) Conder and Edward (Elaine) Street, both of Richfield; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchldren.

She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Chariton "Chari" (John) Jorgensen; siblings, Rollo Seegmiller, Rae Bachrach, Fay Jacobson, Joy Seegmiller, Jeannette Hales Peterson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 and again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery
