Mary Charlene Beutler Gledhill Peterson, 83, passed away January 6, 2016 in Richfield, Utah. She was born July 9, 1932 in Richfield to Charles and Reda Nielson Beutler.

Charlene married Roy J. Gledhill from Sigurd on December 8, 1952 in the Manti Temple. Roy proceeded her in death in 1966. Charlene married Roger Peterson in September 18, 1992 in Las Vegas.

Charlene moved to San Jose, CA, where she received degrees in both teaching and music. After Roy passed away, she returned to Richfield in the mid 70's where she taught many years at Pahvant Elementary School and also private piano lessons in her home.

She loved her family, teaching her school students, music and her church. She was able to combine all of these skills and touch many generations of family, students and friends during her life. She was a great wife and mother, and her loss is hard for all of us who remain. She is greatly missed.

Charlene is survived by her husband Roger; son, Jay (Natalie) Gledhill; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Perry (LuJuana) Beutler.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 16 ^th Ward Chapel, 800 N 500 E. Friends may call Thursday from 6-7 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary and Friday at the ward chapel from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
