Mary Goold Williams
Salt Lake City, Utah
Mary Ellen Behunin Goold Williams, 84, was called home on October 20, 2021 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born February 25, 1937 in Hiawatha, Utah to Joseph Leland and Nellie Lavon Wright Behunin.
She married Rodney F Goold on September 27, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2010. She later married Garry Williams, who also preceded her in death.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She not only practiced nursing professionally, but also continually nursed and cared for everyone around her. Mary spent countless hours serving in numerous church callings throughout her life. She and her husband, Rod, raised their family in Sandy before retiring to Saint George. When not caring for others she spent her time camping, fishing, gardening, volunteering, baking and sharing her best looking baked goods with everyone around her. For her, time with family and friends was time well spent and she will be missed by many.
She is survived by 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers: Allen and Joe; and sister Margaret.
