Mary Pearson Eckler
October 2, 1922 — June 4, 2012
Mary Alta Angell Pearson Eckler, 89, passed away June 4, 2012 in Panguitch. She was born October 2, 1922 in Gause, Texas to William Oscar and Lenora Luce Angel. She married Elmer F. Pearson in Belton, Texas. He preceded her in death April 29, 1997. She married Fay Eckler November 19, 1980 in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death April 26, 2000.
Mom will be remembered by for her honesty, kindness and willingness to help others. She had a lot of friends, but her family always came first. If there was truly an angel on earth, it was Mary—and Angell was her maiden name.
Survived by: Cordell (Kathy) Pearson, Circleville; Kay (John) Jensen, Manti; Greg (Taunya) Pearson, Junction; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by: parents; four sisters and two brothers.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Garfield Memorial Hospital and Long-term Care for their kind and loving care of our mother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Circleville 2nd Ward. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the ward chapel in Circleville. Burial will be in the Circleville Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
