Mary Chynoweth
Henrieville, Utah
On Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in Panguitch, our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Mary Alice Baugh Chynoweth, 82, returned to her eternal sweetheart. She was born April 23, 1932 in Tropic, the daughter of Benjamin James and Elizabeth Imlay Baugh. She married the love of her life, Wade Leo Chynoweth, December 21, 1949 in the St. George Temple. They had two children: Leo and Paula. Wade passed away October 18, 1980.
Mary’s greatest joy in life was family. Her sisters were her best friends and were always by her side. She had a special place in her heart for her neighbors and friends. She served in the Primary for many years and enjoyed her visits with her home teachers.
Mary loved the outdoors and spent many hours in her yard and flower gardens. She loved walking the hills looking for treasures. She was an immaculate housekeeper and a great cook.
As a family we would like to thank the hospital, doctors, nurses, extended care staff and everyone who cared for her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by son, Leo Wade Chynoweth, Henrieville; daugther, Paula (Mark) Henrie, Cannonville; grandchildren, Stacy Chynoweth, Shelly (Keith) Imlay, Chantel Henrie, Trevor Henrie; great-grandson, Jaden Chynoweth; sister, Shirley Taylor, Pleasant View.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Beatrice (Lorall) Barton, Delene (Wendell) Littlefield, Velma (Rex) Palmer; and brother-in-law, Larry Taylor.
