Marva Esplin Morrison, 91, passed away August 26, 2015 in Richfield. She was born May 4, 1924 in Orderville to Thomas and Ann Turcsanski Esplin. She married Ray H. Morrison, January 18, 1944 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death November 9, 1988.
She enjoyed making quilts and doing embroidery for family and friends. She and Ray raised their family with a love of horses and as she got older, she really missed not being able to care for her horses the way she would want.
Marva is survived by her children: Ray Tim (Shauna) Morrison, Provo; Ricky (Sandra) Morrison, Scott Morrison, Ross (Tammy) Morrison, all of Monroe; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell (Berdie) Esplin, Sandy; sister-in-law, Erma Esplin
She is also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Keith Ray Morrison; siblings: Kay (Nola) Esplin, VaLoy "Butch" Esplin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Monroe 1 st and 4 th Ward Chapel, 50 East 200 North, where friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
