Martha Melvina Jensen Henrie, 92, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Panguitch. She was born in Leota, UT on May 29, 1925 and was one of six children born to Oscar Jensen & Erma Rose Jorgensen.

Martha was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to quilt, crochet, cook, bake and can food. Many were blessed by the warmth of her quilts and their tummies were contented from her delicious homemade meals. Her warm smile, sincere kindness and infectious laughter were enjoyed by all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her son, Donald (Sandra) Henrie; daughters: Erma Galloway, Linda (Terry) Thomas. Martha was blessed with 8 granddaughters and 17 great-grandchildren; also survived by her brothers: Alma & Elden Jensen; sister Mildred Thomas;. She will be greatly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Don E. Henrie; daughters: Saundra & Lori Ann; brothers: Raymond & Lynn Jensen.

We find comfort in knowing that she is in heaven in the arms of her family and our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the good example she has provided us, the love she has so freely given and that we are part of her eternal family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Panguitch LDS Stake Center, 550 South 100 West, Panguitch, Utah 84759, where friends may call from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. Internment will be at the Panguitch City Cemetery.
