    Marla Ann Ward, 67, of Manti, passed away April 12, 2023.  The favorite daughter, wife, mother, and even better Grandma. One of her first names ever given as a grandma was Lily dama.. that's one of the best because we always knew she gave a damn about everyone she encountered. 
    Our Queen Bee was born on June 25,1955 to Lamar and Dorothy Williams. Her brothers Doug (Eileen) and Stan (Lori) came before her. Followed behind by Nancy (Arvin), Tom, Kirk, Paul (Jenny), LeAnn (Jeremy).
    All but her daddy are blessed to still be here to celebrate their beautiful daughter and sister. Her Prince charming, Steven Clair Ward, stole her heart and officially made her a Ward on August 6,1976. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. We had some time but eternity seems much farther than we want it.
    Her children were her absolute favorite adults. Brad (Emalee), Melissa (Les), Jeff (Kenyen), Misty (Jerry), Ashley (Steve), Taylor (Whitnie), Erh Fang (SuChuan). I say adults because as soon as she won the Grandma badge it was all over for her kids. Her pride and ultimate Joy were her grand babies. Staton (Kenzie), Libertee, Bailee, Montauk, Codee, Brayden, Jeremy, Averee, Kaitlyn, Karalee, Kenton, Karson, Kinsey, Jexton, Jayden, Keslee, Steven (Neriah), Korie, Greg, Kyler, Colton, Kaden, Beckett, Brooklyn, Moroni, Miranda, Samuel, Joseph, Jared.
    Grandbabies were so fun she started to collect great grandbabies with Stevie Jo (Steven & Neriah). She also had her favorite side kicks Lily and Poppy.
    Marla absolutely loved to adopt and welcome anyone and everyone she could into her castle. She held get-togethers frequently and very rarely was there a meal without new faces around her tables. 
    She loved to serve anyone in need whenever she could. Her example of honesty, independence and unconditional love will carry on to everyone she touched in her short life. 
To say she will be missed is an understatement.
    Memorial services will be held on April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Manti Stake Center, 555 East Union St Manti, Utah.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com 

    Burial of cremated remains will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the Manti Cemetery.
