Mark Allen Hansen, 70, passed away on November 17, 2021 in Richfield.  He was born May 30, 1951 in Richfield, the only child of Allen and Cleo Johnson Hansen.  He married Darlene Kitchen on March 25, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mark absolutely loved listening to music. It touched his soul. He hauled coal for both Robinson’s and Barney’s and loved his job and the people he worked with. Driving his own pickup gave him so much pleasure. After retirement he had time to ride around the valley with his lifelong friends: Chad Winn, Jim Peterson and Brad Christensen.  Mark lived all his life in Richfield and had many good friends and great memories. He enjoyed riding horses, 4-wheeling, old movies, watching football and basketball and hunting.

Mark was very proud of his heritage and he will be overjoyed to be reunited with his family.

Our memories of Mark will be of a big man with a great moral character. He worked hard and had a great sense of humor. He was loved and will be missed.

Survived by his wife, Darlene; Darlene’s children: Billy (Kate) Fullmer, Annabella; Crystal Jensen, Richfield; and Mary Payne, Richfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.
