Marjorie Jean Bell

Marjorie Jean Faulkner Bell, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home December 29, 2017, with her daughter near.

Marjorie, known by everyone as "June" was born February 28, 1928 in East Liverpool, Colombia County, Ohio to Edgar Reid and Jane "Jean" Elizabeth Gibbons Faulkner.

She grew up in Alliance, Stark County, Ohio with 5 brothers. June was very close to her mother and helped her with the household chores throughout her youth. While a young woman she also worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" at an airplane factory during WWII.

On September 28, 1946 she married James Franklin Bell, a WWII veteran, whom she fell in love with at first sight. They had 2 children, Diane and Kevin. June and Jim walked together in love for 58 years until Jim’s passing in 2004.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean; father, Edgar; husband, Jim; 4 brothers, (Tom, Bob, Pat, and Jim); and a special granddaughter, Shelah Bell.

She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Phyllis) Faulkner; daughter, Diane Bell Norton; son, Kevin (Maharlika) Bell; step-daughter, Beverly (KLynn) Bennett; grandchildren: Michelle Medley, Lorraine Thompson, Whit Bell, Marissa Bell, Austin Bell, Kameron Bell, Tammy Chatburn, Marty Bennett, Becky Hitt, Joahnna Haskins, Joseph Ocampo, Shem Ocampo, Don Hurst, Theajean Hurst, Jared Francisco, Terrell Francisco; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 1:00 p.m. at Magleby Mortuary, Richfield. Friends may call on Thursday at Magleby’s from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also prior to services from 11:30-12:30. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti.
