Marie Bjerregaard
March 24, 1926 — December 27, 2015
"Aunt Marie" Bjerregaard passed away December 27, 2015 in Layton, Utah. Born March 24, 1926 in Orangeville, the daughter of Merrill and Lettie Scow Anderson. Devon Anderson was her much loved brother.
Marie married Aden C. Bjerregaard on June 10, 1949, but was a widow most of her adult life. Though she had no children of her own, she never was a family of one. Aunt Marie had two nieces, Shela and DeAnn, plus around 26 grand-nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends. Marie was always there to help anyone in need. She was generous beyond compare, frugal, self-sufficient, physically active, and had a special way of catching you off guard with her humor.
You are welcome to join her family for a viewing on January 2, 2016 at the Magleby Mortuary in Manti, from 11:00 till 12:30, at 195 West 100 North. We will share our gratitude and love for being part of her life. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Ephraim City Cemetery.
