Margery Lucille Boley Hayes, 83, of Ephraim, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her home. Lucille was born on August 31, 1932 in American Fork, UT to Davis and Margery Adeline Peterson Boley.
Lucille was a kind and loving individual who would help anyone in need. She had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who made her light up whenever they walked through the door. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and her best friend, Lynd Draper. Mom and Lynd would drive a hundred miles to get a hamburger and fries. Lucille was a great cook and very good with handy work which she shared with everyone. Lucille was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the time she was able to serve in the Temple.
She is survived by her children: Darrell Boley (LeAnn) Hayes, of American Fork; Douglas Alfred Hayes, of Ephraim; Denise Thursby, of Ephraim; Davis Wayne (Starla) Hayes, of Ephraim; Debra Lucille (Rex) Nielsen, of Ephraim; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Elaine Kopp, of Provo and Arla (Ray) Thomas, of Midvale. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deanna; sister, Jean (Louis) McCandless; brother-in-law, Sam Kopp and son-in-law, Michael Thursby.
