Madson Thomas "Tom" Cunningham, 87 of Joseph, passed away July 22, 2014 at his home in Joseph surrounded by his children. He was born December 17, 1926 in Comanche, Texas to Thomas Mangum and Genevie Bell Rose Cunningham. He married Mary Ruth Green, May 14, 1950 in Florence, Arizona. She preceded him in death, May 13, 2003.
Dad served in the Air Force during WWII as an air plane mechanic. In 1966 the family moved to Joseph where Dad went into construction building homes. He loved to fish, garden, but most of all he loved being around his grandchildren.
Dad is survived by his daughters: Dianna (Steven) Alvey, Joseph; Susan (Marty) Huntsman, Richfield; Darlene (Joe) DeGroat, Peoria, AZ: Ginger Cunningham, Richfield; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Rossie Parker, TX; Dolly (Earl) Simmons, OK; Ronnie Cunningham, AZ.
Also preceded in death by: son, Thomas Cunningham; 2 grandchildren; siblings: Jim, Andrew, Ira, LeRoy, Troy, Lois and Evelyn.
Funeral services will be held, July 26, 2014 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Joseph Cemetery with military rites by the Monroe American Legion Post #37 and Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
