Mabry Alan Word, 54, passed away April 19, 2015 in St.George, Utah. He was born August 24, 1960 in Jackson, Mississippi to Oscar Maynard and Mary Ruth Buie Word. He married Kimber Lea Niemann, October 6, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a simple man who enjoyed a great life. He loved his dogs, his family, fishing and visiting with everyone - not necessarily in that order. He had a kind heart and was always willing to go the extra mile for those in need.
He is survived by his wife of Tropic; children, Oscar (Kristine) Word, Bryce; John (Ekaterina) Word, Cedar City; Mabry Word, Tropic; grandchildren: Oscar and Carina; sisters, Barbara Moreland, Joan Rowe and Rita Wilson, all of Las Vegas, NV.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Oscar Maynard Word.
Graveside services and interment will take place on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Tropic Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
