Lynne Larsen, 73, of Manti, passed away on June 26, 2014 in Provo, UT. She was born on November 10, 1940 in Gunnison, UT to Farland and Camille Rosenvall Nielson.
Lynne loved the outdoors, traveling with her family and was an avid sports fan. In her younger days she lived on a horse. Lynne married her sweetheart, Douglas Larsen on June 24, 1961 in the Manti LDS Temple. Lynne loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband; Douglas Larsen, children; Debra Lynne Larsen and Douglas Lester (Sandy) Larsen, grandchildren; Douglas Zachary, Kendra Marie and Aaron Scott. Lynne is also survived by her siblings; Gary (Jackie) Nielson, of Sevier; Jan Nielson, of Gunnison; and Carol (Kirk) Harding, of Fillmore; sister-in-law, Ethel Lynd Draper, of Manti.
Lynne is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters-in-law, Lois Larsen and Virginia Gillespie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Manti 8 th Ward Chapel, 300 South Main. Friends may call prior to services at the Chapel from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Gunnison City Cemtery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
