Lynn H McArthur

Lynn H. McArthur, 57, of Winnemucca, Nevada, passed away suddenly in his home, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Lynn was born, August 6, 1954 in Manti, Utah, and was the son of Bryan and LeOra McArthur.  He enjoyed 31 years of marriage, to his loving wife Brenda McArthur.  Together they raised four children, Brandon McArthur, Justin McArthur, Tiffannie Mabery, and Staci McArthur. He was an amazing grandfather to twelve beautiful children.
He earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Utah.  He was currently employed, doing the job that he loved, as an underground miner at the Barrick, Cortez Mine.  He was an avid lover of the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and kayaking. His proudest role in life was as a father and grandfather, and nothing brought him more joy than being with his family.
He is survived by his wife, four children, twelve grandchildren, and six siblings;  Roger McArthur, Guy McArthur, Kay Henningson, LeAnna Johansen, Patsy Nielson, Verla Smyth, and Leslie Roberts.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his younger brother Kelly McArthur.
A viewing will be held at the Albertson Funeral Home in Winnemucca, Nevada, on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.   Funeral service in his honor will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 10:00 am in Manti 8th Ward LDS Chapel, 295 South Main.  Friends may call prior to services starting at 9:00 am.
