Lynn H Chynoweth, 73, passed away February 26, 2013 in Richfield. He was born January 5, 1940 in Richfield to Herman and Alma Jolley Chynoweth. He married Susan Smoot June 8,1962. Later divorced. He married Mary Kay Sweeting December 4, 2004 in Richfield. She preceded him in death June 6, 2008.
Lynn worked as a surveyor for UDOT, Hales Sand and Gravel and Sunrise Engineering. He has worked on every road from Salina Canyon to Clear Creek Canyon. He liked to hunt, fish, ride his 4-wheeler around town. He always had a joke and story to tell. He was always working on a project of some kind. He was known by many as "Grumpy".
Survived by sons: Kim (Paula) Chynoweth, Richfield; Blaine (Terri) Chynoweth, Grantsville; step-son, Brian (Kayelynne) Sweeting, Lehi; 11 grandchildren; mother, Alma Ogden, Richfield; Kay Brunson, Richfield; sister-in-law, Karen Chynoweth, Richfield.
Also preceded in death by father; brother, Gordon Chynoweth.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield City Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield. Funeral Directors : Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti
