Lynn B. Christensen
Elsinore, Utah
Our beloved mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Lynn Phyllis Branch Christensen, 74, passed away at her home in Elsinore on January 5, 2018. She was born May 18, 1943 in Richfield to Clarence Lorenzo and Velva Mae Foy Branch. She married Ramon N. Christensen, November 5, 1960 in Richfield. He preceded her in death October 7, 2015.
Lynn was one of a kind. There truly was no one like her. She was full of sass, spunk and lived her life fearlessly.
She was a champion for the underdog and always went out of her way to help those in need. Mom was a true “Mama Bear” she had an unwavering love for her family and defended them to the end.
Her brazen personality was often the catalyst for some of our best memories. Whether it was jumping ditches and hills in the car, dressing up in whimsical costumes or singing and dancing her way through the stores, being with Grandma Lynn was never boring. We will miss her laugh, her smile and her priceless wit. We know she is resting peacefully in the arms of her greatest love, Ramon.
Surviving her are children: Spencer (Dannet) Christensen of Elsinore, Jessie Lynn (Rodney) Anderson of Monroe; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma (Roy) Hooper of Richfield, Virginia (Kendall) Sorenson of Aurora, Myrna Okerlund of Arizona; brothers, Clair (Richey) Branch of Illinois, Verl Branch of Richfield. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter and siblings: Foy, Anna Lee, Shirley and Ivy.
