Lynda Ann Forbush Curtis, 72, passed away November 10, 2012 at her home in Monroe. She was born August 29, 1940 in Richfield to Joseph Alden and Elsie LaVerda McDonald Forbush. She married Ronald Foy Curtis, July 13, 1957 in the Manti Temple and referred to this as one of the happiest and most precious days of her life.
Lynda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her passions in life were her family, genealogy, scrap booking, tole painting and crafts. She loved serving the Lord, her family, friends and neighbors. She served in numerous church callings, auxiliaries and community activities.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Ronald; children: Cathy (Kevin) Reber, Hurricane; Kelly (Kurt) Meacham, Monroe; Kimball (Shauntelle) Curtis, Eagle Mountain; and Craig (Nicole) Curtis, Provo; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monroe Stake Center. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Magleby Mortuary, and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the stake center in Monroe. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
