    Louise Harmon Syndergaard passed away peacefully, at the age of 80, on February 19, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Manti on October 29, 1942 to John Leonard and Merl Denison Harmon.
    Louise was born and raised in Manti and graduated from Manti High School. She married the love of her life, Elmer Reed Syndergaard in the Manti Temple on September 10, 1960. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2021.
    Louise loved serving in her church where she held many church callings. Louise loved serving in the temple as a patron and worker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family — especially her grandchildren, attending the temple with her sister, Judy, and scrapbooking with her daughter, Mary. 
    Louise is lovingly remembered by her children: Kim (Marlene) Syndergaard, Laurie (John) Jensen, RaLean (John) Sadler, Mary (Ross) Cox, DeeAnn (Robert) Lunday; 17 grandchildren; soon to be 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Tolman; and brother, Joel Harmon. 
    She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister Rosalie Cahoon. 
    Many thanks to the Gunnison Valley Home Health and Hospice staff for the love and care they showed our mother. She spent her final days in the home of her daughter and was lovingly cared for by her grandchildren, Issy and Jessica. 
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in the Manti Tabernacle. Friends may call prior to services at the church from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery next to her beloved husband.
