Our beloved mother Lorraine Mcdonald Wilkin passed away January 11, 2019 after a long battle with chronic health issues. Lorraine was born September 11, 1946 to Bernet Lund and Herbert McDonald. She had four brothers and loved spending time with family as a child. She loved her Granny and enjoyed passing on stories of family history to her children.

She married Laurence Hansen in 1962 and they had seven children together. She was a stay at home mom for many years before going back to school to get her nursing license. They later divorced and she remarried a couple of times before she found her love Bruce Wilkin.

Lorraine enjoyed sewing, camping, reading, travel, cooking, and her work as a registered nurse. She was always so proud of her children's accomplishments. She had a love for all living things and passed on her love of animals to her children. She could never see an animal suffering without lending a hand. She donated to many causes she found worthwhile and was a friend to many when they were in need.

She is survived by her sons: Wade (Alana) Hansen Parker, CO; James (Janine) Hansen Fernley, NV; daughters: Christine (Russ) Davis Willard; Kimberly Munford, Ogden; Samantha (Levi) Pike, West Haven; Kari (Justin) Gould, Tremonton; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Steven McDonald; daughter Stephanie Hansen; and several aunts and uncles. She will be missed but we know she is in a better place with so many who love her and have gone before.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 in the Marysvale Ward Chapel Friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Interment to be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the Pioche Public Cemetery in Pioche, NV.
