Ruth Lorraine Foy Johnson, 87, passed away January 22, 2014 in Richfield, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 10, 1926 in Seattle, Washington, to Eddie Lee and Naomi Theoda Foy. She married Boyd F. Johnson, March 13, 1945 in Monroe. The marriage was solemnized June 17, 1963 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, June 22, 2008.

Lorraine worked as a medical assistant to many doctors in Richfield. She also worked for H&R Block. She loved being in the mountains hunting, fishing, boating, camping, riding ATV’s and golfing. She had a green thumb harvesting her gardens of fruits, vegetables and flowers. She enjoyed quilting and sewing many creations for her children and grandchildren. Our momma was a wonderful cook and her family was her pride and joy.

She is survived by her children: Judy (Richard) Farmer, Cindy (Kenneth) Rogers, Susan Henriod, Don (Teresa) Johnson; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Rick Farmer; great-grandson, Noah Farmer; brother, Donald Foy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield. Friends may call Monday at the Magleby Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
