Loretta Joyce Lamprecht Jensen, 86, passed away April 13, 2014 in Salem, Utah. She was born May 18, 1927 in Heber, Utah to George and Clara Pearl Jessen Lamprecht. She married Charles Richard Jensen, May 3, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple, February 16, 1955. He preceded her in death May 15, 2005.

Loretta loved flowers and working outside in her yard. She and husband Richard owned and trained race horses. Many people will remember her as a sales associate with both Sprouse Ritz and King’s. After King’s in Richfield closed, she moved to Idaho and managed a Gem’s Variety Store. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include her children: George Daniel "Danny" (Norma) Jensen of Monroe; Pat (Larry) Rappleye of Salem; Lee Jensen of Monroe; Ann (Jim) Kennedy of Grantsville; Inez (Keith) Toone of Tooele; Torri (Rex) Bagley of Sigurd; Mark (Diana) Jensen of Richfield; 40 grandchildren; 143 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Laone "Curley" Lamprecht, Glenwood.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Rappleye; son-in-law, Dennis Muir; siblings, Zenda Bredsguard, Don and Orin Lamprecht.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 11 ^th Ward Chapel, 985 South 400 West. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Sunday From 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Ward Chapel on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
