Lonnie Harvey Jacobson, 67, passed away January 27, 2015 at his home in Elsinore. He was born April 24, 1947 in Richfield to Harvey Charles and Gwendolyn Johnson Jacobson. He married Veronda Llyn Stewart, April 6, 1969 in Richfield, later divorced.

Lonnie served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for Geneva Steel for 30 years. He loved to play the guitar, sharing his talents at the care center and Cowboy Corral for many years. He loved hunting, metal detecting, a sports fanatic, collecting sports cards—and many other things. He was a great father and grandfather.

Lonnie is survived by his children: Corey (Sharmane) Jacobson, Springville; Casey (Stacey) Jacobson, Dallas, TX; Amanda Burrows, Elsinore; Samantha Jacobson, Draper; Heidi Nichols, Spanish Fork; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; siblings: Dan (Janie) Jacobson, Elsinore; Craig (Darlene) Jacobson, Las Vegas, NV; Julie (Clair) Memmott, Scipio; sister-in-law, Sue Jacobson.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeremy Jacobson; brother, Kirk (Sherry) Jacobson.

Cremation services have been held. Memorial services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Elsinore Ward Chapel where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery with military rites by the Elsinore American Legion Post #75. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
