Lois Sedgwick Boyack Miller

November 17, 1926 — June 29, 2012

Freed from her earthly body, Lois Sedgwick Boyack Miller, 85,  was able to finally run to her earthly home Friday morning June 29, 2012. Lois was born November 17, 1926 in Bountiful, to R. Alonzo and Alice Cherrington Sedgwick. Lois married Bert Boyack in 1955 and they were blessed with a sweet daughter Julie. He preceded her in death. She later married Nin A. Miller 1978 and they made their home in Panguitch. He preceded her in death.
Lois was raised in Bountiful and attended school in Davis County graduating from Davis High School. She attended USU graduating in Home Economics Education. She taught at Price, North Davis Junior High and South Davis Junior High.
Lois served in various callings in the LDS Church. She worked for many years as an Election Judge. A member of DUP and Business and Professional Women.
She is survived by son-in-law, Alan Gomm and grandchildren: Jason (Cristy) Gomm, Michael Gomm, Sharla (Ryan) Swartz and Cameron (Naomi) Gomm; great-grandchildren: Cassie, Conner, Mila, Austin, Mersaydeez; sister, Anna Sedgwick Ainscough; brother, Lynn Sedgwick, sister-in-law, Donna Sedgwick.
She is also preceded in death by parents; daughter, Julie Boyack Gomm;  brothers, Harold and Kendall.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Panguitch 3rd Ward, 550 South 100 West, where friends may call from 10:30 - 11:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Panguitch City Cemetery.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
