MONROE, UT – Lois Deon Christiansen Beutler aged 91 passed away on July 4th in the arms of her family here on earth return to our Heavenly Father and loved ones who have passed before. Our beloved mother, grand mother, great and great great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was born in Monroe, Utah on July 11, 1920 to Jesse and Mary Chritiansen, the second of four children. She grew up in Monroe and graduated from South Sevier High School, where she was active in school plays. Lois also played the French Horn in the school band and really enjoyed roller skating.
In 1937 she met the love of her life Leonard Benjamin Beutler while she was working at Fish Lake Lodge in Utah. They were married in 1938 in New Mexico. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple in 1954. Their love and devotion to one another through nearly 70 years of marriage is an in inspiration.
Lois was a warm and caring person to all who knew her. She was devoted to her family and friends, who brought complete joy and fulfillment to her life. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in a number of callings.
In addition to her husband, Lois is preceded in death by her parents; brothers; her son Lyle; and great grand-daughter Hannah.
Lois is survived by her son Bard Beutler, her daughter Meridee (Dave), Evers, sister, Barbara (Ralph) Moore and step daughter Jeri Rouoss, also 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the LDS Church located at 4000 W. Orange (Between Holder and Knott) in Anaheim, CA.
Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in the Monroe City Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Richfield park at 10:15 we will proceed to the gravesite in procession.
