Lois "Ma" Christiansen

Lois "MA" Christiansen, 78, of Sterling, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at her home surrounded by her daughters. She left peacefully with our Heavenly Father on her journey home.

Lois was born on December 9, 1932 in Oklahoma to Tom & Twilla Padgett. She was married to Andy Christiansen of Manti who preceded her in death on March 16, 1999.

She was loved by all and brought joy to many with her crafts, crocheting and unique stain glass designs.

She is survived by her children: Kathy (Rick) Shepherd, Sterling; Janice (Mike) Olsen, Gunnison and Cheryl Miller, Salina. She is also survived by her siblings: Shirley, Karen, Sherry, Johnny, Rick and Linda; 12 Grandchildren & 19 Great-Grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her son, Mike "Griz" Prock, daughter, Susan Goodwin and two granddaughters, Barbara & Kimberly. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Benny Padgett, Leonard Padgett and David Avondet.

Family memorial services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Sterling LDS Chapel Pavilion. Come help us celebrate "MA’S" Freedom.
