Logann Elise Eagar
Henrieville, Utah
Logann Elise Marx Eagar, 36, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2016 in her Henrieville home surrounded by her family. She was born on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 1979 in Provo, Utah. She grew up in Littleton, Colorado with frequent trips to Utah to stay with her dad, Kirk. She has a close relationship with her older brother Jake and her younger sisters, Lauren and Shelby. She was a responsible, helpful, hardworking, and organized child who enjoyed helping her mom take care of her younger sisters. She was also a fun-loving, spontaneous, adventurous, and playful sister and friend who loved country music and swing dancing.
In 2000 Logann met Max Eagar of Springville, Utah and on August 6, of that year they were married in Las Vegas. A year later, and after a move to Henrieville, Utah, they were sealed in the Manti Temple. Logann and Max have four children together: Calvin, 13; Henrie, 11; Carolina, 9; and James, 6. Logann enjoyed nothing more than being a mother to her children, who she cared for and taught with patience and love. She also had many young cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved as if they were her own children.
Logann enjoyed so many things in life, including: reading, gardening, dancing, taking pictures, editing photos, art, building things, shopping for bargains, decorating, watching movies and tv shows, scrapbooking, quilting, crafts, caring for pets, roller-coasters, playing in the ocean, climbing in trees, and drives in the mountains. She was full of life and lived it to its fullest, never wanting to waste a moment.
Logann was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She never hesitated to share her beliefs and testimony with others. She strived to follow the example of Jesus and do what her Heavenly Father wanted her to do. She taught her family how to pray, trust in God and serve others.
Perhaps most notable is that Logann loved people. She was a friend to everyone and everywhere she went she made friends. Her friendships often lasted throughout her life, and she had an incredible capacity to love those who are hard to love. She taught everyone how to be kind and forgive one another.
In the beginning of 2011, shortly after Logann’s 31st birthday, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. For the next six years she fought valiantly for her life, enduring many hardships and much pain. Throughout this trial Logann rarely complained and never asked, ‘Why me?’ She showed everyone how to be strong and brave in the face of extreme difficulties. Rather than complain about her fate, she turned it into an opportunity to lift and inspire others, and show compassion to those who suffer.
Logann is survived by her husband Max and her four children; mother, Dorsie Denny; dad, Kirk Marx; brothers: Jake and Ryan Marx; sisters: Lauren Senary, Shelby Huffaker and Elizabeth Marx; Grandmothers: Wynona Henderson and Patricia Marx.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Roy Dallin Marx and Ernest Henderson; cousin, Dani DiSera; and her friend, Natalie Lundberg. She looked forward to being reunited with them in heaven.
