Leslie E. Rasmussen, 88, passed away October 24, 2013 in Richfield. He was born August 26, 1925 in Provo to Wilford Andrew and Lucy Gurr Rasmussen. He married Ellis Perkes, October 30, 1978 in Evanston, WY.

Leslie was drafted into the Army during WWII moving into the Army Air Corp, ultimately to the Air Force, where he served for 27 years. During his military career he fought in three wars: WWII, Korea and Viet Nam—earning a bronze star in Viet Nam. He ended his military career as a Master Sargent.

After moving to Annabella, he worked as service manager for Jorgenson Honda. He loved fishing with the grandchildren and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Ellis, of Annabella; daughter: Teresa Rasmussen (Brad Johnson), Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren: Lacy (Ron) Smith, Avon IN; Ryan Weber, and Jennifer Weber, both of Indianpolis, IN; one great-grandchild on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Loy Rasmussen.

Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Annabella Cemetery, with military rites by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
